Meet the Founder

Rob

I'm the founder of The Pangolin Co, a purpose-driven brand built around quality products and meaningful impact. I started the company with the belief that businesses can do more than sell products, they can tell stories, build communities and support causes that matter.

The Pangolin Co was created to raise awareness for one of the world's most overlooked endangered animals while proving that purpose and great design can go hand in hand. Every product is built with intention, combining quality, originality and a commitment to conservation.

As a founder, my focus is on building a brand that people genuinely want to support, not because it's the biggest, but because it stands for something real.

About Us

The Pangolin Co creates personalised sportswear across both performance and lifestyle ranges: 'Inspired by the pangolin, personalised by you.' We are official collaborators of the African Pangolin Working Group

What started as hand-drawn logo on the beach in the summer of 2025 quickly grew into a much bigger vision.

The inspiration came from my father who has always had a strong interest in pangolins, and through him I learned about these remarkable animals - the world’s only scaled mammal and one of the most trafficked and endangered species on the planet. Pangolins play a vital role in their ecosystems, yet all eight species are threatened due to illegal wildlife trade and habitat loss. Despite this, pangolins remain largely unknown, particularly among younger generations. That lack of awareness became a key motivation behind the pangolin co.

By leveraging my network of athletes through University, sports teams, and younger consumers, I aim to use sport as a platform for awareness, connecting people who may never have heard of pangolins to meaningful conservation action. Every product tells a story, starts a conversation, and helps ensure pangolins are not forgotten.

The Pangolin Co exists to prove that sport, design, and environmental responsibility can work together, creating impact both on and off the field.

Our why

Purpose sits at the heart of everything we do. A proportion of every sale is donated to the African Pangolin Working Group charity who we are officially collaborated with. They are dedicated to pangolin conservation, supporting organisations working to combat illegal wildlife trafficking, protect natural habitats, and fund rescue, rehabilitation, and release programmes. Pangolins have no natural defence against humans, curling into a ball when threatened, a survival trait that has tragically made them vulnerable to poaching. They are the most trafficked animal and all 8 species of are endangered. Protecting them requires awareness as much as action.
